Working on an Honesty System, the box is filled with fresh bakes each Saturday (check the Facebook page for menu each week).
As a career baker, I couldn't stop baking completely when I retrained as a nutritionist and now run this box from outside our home in Thurso.
The name "The Balanced Bakery" comes from my strong held belief that a good diet can include cakes and bakes occasionally, without doing long term harm. It's all about finding a balance!
